OUR FIRST CHOICE FOR A CELEBRANT
When we decided to get married after almost 30 years together, Kez was the 2nd vendor we booked and our first choice for a celebrant and luckily she was available.
Having worked in the wedding industry for over 10 years myself, I’ve met Kez on numerous occasions and always been struck by how open, happy and engaging she is and I just felt that she would be the absolute perfect match for us and for the wedding that we wanted to have. She walked us through every step of the process, the emails and the messages guided us through our paperwork, writing our vows and ensured that we were at our peak confidence by the big day. On the day itself she was incredibly professional and wowed our families and friends with everything she did & said.
Our ceremony was on-point and reflected exactly who we were and it really set the scene for the prefect evening to come. We cannot thank Kez enough for making us laugh, cry and laugh even more – there was not a boring moment or a thing we would have changed given the chance. Fiona & Daniel

You made the whole process a lot easier and more fun. I really enjoyed chatting with you and I loved the ceremony speech you put together. If anyone asks about you in the future, I will 100% recommend you for their wedding.
Working with Kez was one of the easiest things that we could’ve done throughout the wedding process. She was there with any answers that we needed within the day, and she always gave us different opinions on decisions that we had to make.
We think that the ceremony couldn’t have gone any better as Kez was so thorough with all our details that were you wished to include in our ceremony. It really made you not even have a second thought about how the day will run because you already know it was going to run smoothly.
Everyone that we spoke to, regarding the ceremony had tears in their eyes and couldn’t explain how wonderful and emotional the whole process was, and they were very happy to be a part of it.

I will be recommending Kez to anyone I know that may want to get married in the future.
The ceremony went so much better than I expected! Leading up to the day I thought I’d be a nervous wreck. I was calmer than I thought I’d be and Kez was a huge help in making me feel comfortable and relaxed. rather than feeling too formal or serious, it was light, humorous and intimate which is just what we wanted.
Everyone said you were fantastic and you were an absolute star helping with the family photos. The ceremony couldn’t have gone any better. Thanks so much!! The entire day was perfect.

KEZ SLOTTED IN PERFECTLY
Kez was amazing right from the get go! Communication was perfect and really felt she went out of her way to make our day as special and personal as possible. My partner and I were very clear we didn’t want anything lovey-dovey, our wedding was very unconventional and Kez really slotted in perfectly. Months on and I am still being told from guests how much they loved her!

PEOPLE ASSUMED YOU WERE A FRIEND
Every couple is different but neither of us enjoy the Nitty gritty of wanting this or that or thinking of the details. We wanted someone for that which you were able to do for us. After the wedding people asked where we met you because they had assumed you were a friend we had asked to be celebrant and MC! So that speaks to a good fit, and also your Inverell connection may have added to the misdirect which we found super amusing! We had such a great time we actually have said to a few people we have had post wedding blues missing everyone and how well everything came together

The preparation and lead up to the wedding went so smoothly. In particular the portal where we could see what was coming up, what we had submitted, or what needed to be done next. We loved the staggered emails, which helped to ensure we weren’t overloaded with tasks, but also kept us on track. Also the gentle reminders when we had missed something. It was so well organised and we felt so supported throughout the whole process.
When we sat down to read through your ceremony the week of the wedding, we had a moment of wow – this is really happening. The ceremony was so well written; incorporating the best parts of our questionnaires and it felt so much like us. It gave us the chance to really reflect that in a few short days we would be getting married, and reading through the ceremony draft helped remind us why we were doing this in the first place. It was so perfect.
The day of the wedding itself was such a blur, but we couldn’t be happier with how everything went. Kez, you were so great and we would not hesitate to recommend you to friends/family getting married in the future. We hope that we have the privilege of being able to attend one of your weddings in the future.

Me and my partner have been engaged for several years with 2 wedding cancelled due to COVID. Late last year we got the news that we had fallen pregnant, and we just wanted to elope in the park with our parents and no fuss. We made the decision to get married on our anniversary and with only a month notice the process was made so simple. The day was exactly what we wanted, simple and no fuss at all. I loved every moment of it! I particularly loved having the option of not having a super formal ceremony as that was more our personality. Everyone was raving about how they wished their ceremony was as relaxed and fun fun as ours! My celebrant was perfect in every way ! It was ****ing rad.
I loved every aspect of it. Kez was so flexible, and I felt we could take it as far and wide or as focussed and narrow as we wished. The portal made document handling a breeze along with all the other admin-y things. We never felt pressured or stressed and that was exactly what we were after. I will be (and have been) saying to my friends; “You should totally elope and use Kez at UGL, it was ****ing rad”!

Life is crazy and every time we spoke to you Kez you made us feel comfortable and never once panicked at our lack of organisation and structure. Our approach of dealing with all things as they come, certainly did not stress you. And how you “got” us from the little time we spent together I don’t know. But we felt like an old friend was marrying us, and that I could trust you with anything.
Our ceremony was crazy and fun like us. We loved that you told our story in a way that was not boring, but actually informed and entertained those who may not have known us well before the day (ie one or the others friends who have not lived close).
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO grateful that we picked you. Just send anyone who is wanting to know how great you are to us, we shall tell them any day how awesome you are. Besides being fun, you were efficient and organised.
Kez, you were amazing. You made it so seamless. The way you run everything made the 4 and a half hours distance between us totally manageable.
We were catching up with a friend the other day and they mentioned that they thought you were our friend, not a full-time celebrant. I think that’s accurate. The ceremony was everything we could have asked for and more.
Besides being fun, you were efficient and organised and made a very stressful day much less stressful. You worked around our schedules to make everything work. You were just fabulous! And you had a very sunny dress to combat the weather!

We didn’t just find our celebrant, we found a friend.
Our whole experience the months leading up to the wedding, right to the real deal was just incredible. As soon as Steve and I met Kez we knew she was the perfect person to marry us. We Instantly felt warmth and a connection. Kez went above and beyond to get to know us and our story, and provided incredible support in times where we needed it most.
Our guest all raved about our ceremony and how funny and light hearted it all was. They all loved Kez and her approach to our ceremony, with many guests mentioning how much they enjoyed it and it was cute / me / one the best ceremonies they have been to! Everything was so easy with Kez, she really made us feel at ease the whole time. We knew she was the right choice for us when we first spoke to her. And after coming down with Covid 10 days before the wedding, she made me feel that little bit less stressed about how things would happen on the day. Kez also made us feel comfortable in having our son included in anyway that was necessary, turned out all he wanted was cuddles from his Gran after waking right before the ceremony (that was another stress, turning up and seeing him asleep in the car!). The ceremony itself was beautiful, everything came together so well. What was said was very true to us. It was funny, but it wasn’t overdone. Our family and friends said that what was spoken was great. I would absolutely recommend Kez for anyone looking for a celebrant!

Kez was absolutely wonderful from the very beginning of our wedding planning journey. Not only did Kez listen to what we wanted and built on it with enthusiasm, but also suggested some things we hadn’t thought of that ended up really enhancing the day. The ceremony was personal, fun, and touching. Our guests were blown away by how enjoyable the ceremony was, especially since (in their words) it’s usually “the boring part of the wedding”. We also booked Kez to stick around and MC the reception – the best choice we could have made! She was delightful and put us at ease so we could enjoy ourselves knowing that it was all in the hands of a pro! My new husband (!!!) and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Kez could not have been more help throughout the process. We were so lucky to have been referred to her.
Kez made the experience fun and she definitely just got us as a couple. I think it was perfect and i would change a thing despite us not being great wordsmiths. I think the biggest compliment comes from my 85 year old (Catholic) grandmother, obviously we aren’t a traditional lovey dovey couple and I was worried after the ceremony what she might think. When I caught up with her the next day I asked her what her favourite part was and she responded with my celebrant! She said yes it wasn’t what she expected but it was perfect and definitely accurately represented Mick and I, she thought it was beautiful. Highly recommend Kez, she is fun, helpful and makes it such an enjoyable process.

It was good to know that our celebrant was in our corner.
At a time when we were both wracked with nerves, Kez really kept us both relaxed, and on track with what we were meant to be doing! I think she put everyone at ease at what turned out to be quite an eventful ceremony! She has her own (warm and open) professional style which was exactly what we were hoping for, and exactly what we mentally signed up for when choosing her. It was all such a blur of euphoria (and adrenaline where the public speaking was concerned), so it was good to know that our celebrant was in our corner throughout, making sure that everything ran smoothly. I enjoyed literally everything about the ceremony. We could not have asked for a better ceremony, I’d change nothing. The lead up in general for wedding planning was stressful (mainly for me) however you were so accommodating and helpful , I never felt like I needed to worry about how things were going to go , you lead the way and it made me feel very comfortable and at ease with everything which is exactly what i needed. Your tips and hits on what to do we’re so appreciated , especially since you’ve been to the venue multiple times before it just made us feel great.

Getting married is a serious thing but that doesn’t mean it needs to be boring, your script and delivery was amazing and like I said you led the way completely on what to do where to stand and what to say which is exactly what we needed, so it was great!

Kez made us feel at ease.
My partner and I are not the sort of people who are comfortable being the center of attention but Kez made us feel at ease. She went through the process so we knew what was expected but did so in a laid back way that meant we weren’t too stressed. We loved what she put together for us and didn’t change a single word and everyone was commenting at the reception how good the celebrant was! We would recommend Kez to anyone looking for a celebrant, she is so fabulous at what she does and has the experience to be able to deal with anything including an extremely windy day and the potential for dress malfunctions. We cannot thank you enough for the time, effort and care you put into making our day perfect!

Kez was absolutely amazing! From the first meeting we felt so good and new the ceremony would be one aspect of the wedding we didn’t have to worry about at all! From the beginning of planning and that first zoom meeting we instantly knew that Kez was the perfect choice to marry us.
Our ceremony was incredible!! The perfect combination of sweet and funny and it perfectly captured our relationship and the vibe we wanted for the day. It was also short and sweet which was exactly what we wanted. I have also had comments from guests saying how great she was and i think her fun, bubbly personality set the mood for the start of what was an awesome day with lots of smiles. We had a lot of stress leading up to our day due to flooding event. We were so lucky that worry about our celebrant wasn’t a concern. Kez was there when we needed her. I didn’t have the sunny beach wedding like I’d hoped for, but the ceremony I did get inside a cosy surf club brings a massive smile to my face. Kez captured Pete and I beautifully. She took a potentially excessive amount of word vomit about how much we love each other and turned it into the perfect representation of us. Her jokes were on point & she made the whole process comfortable and completely us. I enjoyed our last minute Facetime talk, it put me at ease and put things into perspective for Matt (he was the most stressed after the talk, which I found hilarious of course). It was as simple, but as lovely as we had hoped for.
If it hadn’t poured down rain I don’t think the day would have been as magical and fun as it was. We really appreciate that our celebrant was such a good sport to travel up and down mountainous terrain, and hike muddy single track to a hidden bridge in the middle of the bush. It was as simple, but as lovely as we had hoped for.

The ceremony was exactly what we were after – something low key and non-traditional, without the strict time/structural pressures usually associated with a wedding ceremony. It was the perfect mix of funny and heartfelt and hit the sweet spot in terms of time; nobody got bored, but nothing felt missed out. Kez provided us with so much great input to make sure that we got the ceremony we wanted while hitting all the key beats we needed to.
Kez is a great conversationalist and she was able to accurately capture our story as a couple in a lovely way based only on a brief questionnaire and a few virtual meetings with her. This was even more impressive given we live in Canberra and only met Kez in person on our wedding day and is a testament to her considerable experience as a celebrant.
Even though we only needed to get in touch with Kez a handful of times ahead of the wedding, she made us feel like she was available at any time to help us with anything that we needed. She kept us on track with regular emails to let us know when to lodge documents, answer questionnaires and write vows at all the right times using her brilliant web portal. She helped take away so much stress from the planning of our wedding in a user friendly way.
We can’t recommend Kez highly enough as a celebrant for anyone in the Newcastle region looking to get hitched without all the stress! It’s meant to be a fun day and Kez helped make that happen for us.

From the moment we met with Kez on zoom, it was an instant connection. Richard and I just knew that this was the person who would capture us completely and be able to add such amazing moments to our big day. When we were finally able to meet in person closer the the date, she eased all our nerves, ensured we knew how it was all going to go down and was just as excited as we were for our friends and family to celebrate and share the love. Kez brings such warmth and joy to all around her and to say she nailed the ceremony and what vibe we wanted for everyone is an understatement. Every person was flawed by Kez and her ceremony speech, she made everyone laugh, cry and be present in the moment. I must admit I was pretty devastated that we couldn’t have our ceremony as planned due to the rain but you took charge and made the call to move inside, which we both needed. Kez was recommended to us by our photographer, who knew us well. She said ‘you will LOVE Kez, she is perfect for you girls!’. After having a string of uncomfortable introductions with other celebrants who seemed surprised when we told them that we were two girls wanting to marry each other, we were hopeful that we might have struck gold. And booyah, we did. We met Kez (and her adorable daughter) and she was instantly warm and funny and helpful too and she did not even flinch when we said we were marrying each other. She asked us things we hadn’t even thought of and she got excited with us as the day drew nearer. Kez was always available for questions, which helped to keep us calm. In fact, she made our day super relaxed, it was awesome. Kez looked amazing on the day too, we love her style, it’s so fresh and fun! When the day finally comes that NSW will let my beautiful girl legally become wife and wife, we will be booking in Kez right away to come and do the honours for us. Kez is the goldilocks of the celebrants, she is just right.
Kez was absolutely amazing in guiding Daniel and I through to the big day. From providing information and support especially when it came to our vows, she gave us a nudge and since I wasn’t a great writer she helped me articulate what I felt about Daniel. Our guests commented on how fun, friendly and organized Kez as they said that our ceremony reflected us down to the ‘T’ and she handled getting family and friends to either seats.I guess you could say that Kez is the goldilocks of the celebrants, she is just right

Kez created the most amazing and special ceremony for me and my new husband. She made our ceremony so personal and very much us, not too lovey dovey, a little bit weird and what we think, funny.
From the time I contacted Kez, right through to the end of the ceremony, Kez made us feel like we were family. She was so enthusiastic and happy all the time, she provided us with all the information and support we needed, especially as newly weds, we had no idea what we had to do.
I received many compliments about Kez after our ceremony, she was fun, kept our guests engaged and shared our life with those we love the most, our family and friends, she was no where near boring or bland.
Kez kept our ceremony fun but she was stern with our guests when needed, especially with my request to have a technology free ceremony. Making sure the day was about me and my husband and not the guests, as she put it ‘I don’t care if I make the guests unhappy or if they don’t like me, I am here for the you, the bride and groom to make it as special as you deserve’.
Down to, mostly my tears, Kez took control and she made me recover well after hearing my husband’s vows and helped my to regain my focus without making me feel silly.
