I’ve been to East Maitland Leisure and Golf Club a few times now, and I can tell you the one amazing thing they have over other venues in the area is Kylie, the coordinator. She’s an absolute gem. Added to that, you have a beautiful, flexible venue that can accomodation large or small weddings and has some picturesque spots for ceremonies (and photos afterwards) East Maitland Leisure and Golf Club should be on your list of locations to scope out, if you’re planning a Maitland wedding.

Maitland is part of the Hunter Valley and is around 166 kilometres north of Sydney and 35 km north-west of Newcastle.
East Maitland Leisure and Golf Club is found just off the New England Highway on Tenambit Road. There is plenty of parking and the Golf Course is cart free (meaning no player interruptions during your ceremony).
Locations for your ceremony including just outside the clubhouse, the outdoor balcony and multiple function centres that can house any number of guests.

Although based in Mayfield (Newcastle) Wed By Kez is able to work with couples who live local to the Newcastle and Hunter Area. East Maitland is only a short drive away. With couples who are marrying in the Hunter, but live interstate Kez works remotely (via zoom, phone and email) to get the legal paperwork done and write and prepare the ceremony.
Kez ceremonies are a good, fun 20 minutes worth of talking but it’s best to allow 30 minutes total.
Kez knows and loves the Maitland area and really enjoys the professionalism of the East Maitland Leisure and Golf Club staff and the beauty of the area.
